Bijay Paudel backs MP Pierre Poilievre in Conservative leadership race

Bijay Paudel who was a national campaign coordinator representing Nepalese Canadian community for Patrick Brown now backs Pierre Poilievre after he and his team had meeting with Pierre Friday (July 23). Bijay is requesting Canadian Nepalese community to vote for Pierre. More than 1500 plus Nepalese Canadian from all over Canada signed up to vote for Conservative leadership race.

Bijay is a President of Federation of Canada Nepal Chamber of Commerce and was a nomination Candidate for MP from Mississauga Malton in 2021 Federal election. During the 30 minutes meeting Bijay Paudel put forwarded Nepalese Community issues to be addressed by the Canadian Government including Canadian Visa and Trade office in Nepal, Community Center, Family reunification and accelerated licensing process for internationally educated doctors, engineers and other professionals. Pierre said “He will do more research and explore more about the Visa office issue in Kathmandu Nepal and do everything in his capacity once elected as leader and Prime Minister. Pierre also looks forward to working with the Nepalese community in fostering stronger relationship with the diaspora.

Pierre is a husband, Father of two kids and currently Member of Parliament from Ottawa region in House of Commons. He has been Member of Parliament since 2004. 63 Conservative MP (More than half of his caucus) including Andrew Scheer has endorsed Pierre for the next leader and Prime Minister of Canada. It’s time to get united behind Pierre. He is the right choice to lead this Country.
