The Markham, Richmond Hill & Vaughan Chinese Business Association (MRVCBA) hosted its prestigious Outstanding Women Award 2025 gala at the Markham Hilton, celebrating Asian women who have demonstrated exceptional achievements in business, innovation, and community leadership across the Markham–Richmond Hill–Vaughan region.
The event gathered community leaders, distinguished guests, and public officials, including Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti, to recognize women whose contributions continue to shape and strengthen the local business landscape. Supported by key sponsors such as the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO), the gala highlighted categories including Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year, Outstanding Women’s Leadership, and Outstanding Innovation and Impact.

This year, Shara Micucci was awarded the prestigious Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year Award, becoming the first South Asian woman to receive this honour. Widely respected as an influential figure in the regional business community, Micucci has earned recognition for her dynamic leadership, entrepreneurial excellence, and long-standing commitment to community development.
Micucci is the founder of several notable ventures, including Rama Gaming House, RKitchen, Meadowvale Business Association, True Patriot Love (TPL), MPulse, and Shara Micucci Real Estate. Her entrepreneurial footprint spans multiple industries, reflecting her vision for innovation and sustainable growth. In addition to her business accomplishments, Micucci is admired for her deep community engagement through the Meadowvale Business Association, where she plays an active leadership role.
Her philanthropic impact is equally significant—she is known for supporting over 175 charities, fostering community spirit, and championing initiatives that promote local economic development and social well-being.
