Toronto, Canada — In response to the growing need for accurate information and clarity around Canada’s complex immigration system, Nepalese Canadian Community Services (NCCS) is organizing a timely and informative community webinar titled “Navigating Immigration.” The free webinar aims to empower immigrants, students, workers, and families by providing reliable, up-to-date guidance directly from licensed immigration and legal professionals.
The webinar will take place on Sunday, January 25, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM (EST) and will be conducted via Zoom, with a live broadcast on NCCS’s official Facebook page, allowing wide participation from across Canada and beyond.

The session will feature expert panelists Muga Rajbhandari, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, and Shiva Prasad Nepal, Barrister and Solicitor of Ontario. Drawing from their professional experience, the panelists will discuss key immigration pathways, legal responsibilities, permanent residency options, compliance requirements, and common mistakes that often create delays or refusals in immigration applications.
The webinar will be moderated by Sudarshan Sapkota, President of Nepalese Canadian Community Services (NCCS). The role of rapporteurs will be carried out by Nimish Khanal and Khagendra Kandel, members of the NCCS Board of Directors, ensuring that community concerns, key discussions, and expert insights are well captured.
The program is designed to address widespread confusion and misinformation related to immigration processes while offering participants the opportunity to ask questions and receive practical, professional advice. The webinar is particularly relevant for international students, temporary foreign workers, families planning their future in Canada, and newcomers seeking a clearer understanding of their options.
Organized as part of NCCS’s ongoing commitment to community service and empowerment under its guiding principle “Together We Serve, Together We Grow,” the webinar will be offered completely free of charge.
