Premier Kathleen Wynne is announcing a plan to increase the minimum wage in Ontario to $15 an hour.
Currently, the minimum wage is $11.40 an hour.
In an interview with CBC News, Wynne said the provincial economy is doing well enough to handle a significant wage boost.

The premier is also announcing several other reforms to workplace regulations.
The reforms will address issues like annual paid vacation time, equal pay for part- and full-time workers doing the same job, and unions in retail and fast-food settings.
