NCCC Announces New Executive Board for 2025–2027, Expresses Gratitude to Outgoing Team


Toronto, Canada — The Nepalese Canadian Cricket Club (NCCC) has introduced its newly elected Executive Board for the 2025–2027 term, ushering in a fresh era of leadership aimed at strengthening organizational development, community involvement, and the overall growth of Nepalese cricket in Canada.

Imran Khan has been appointed as Chairperson and Patron, while engineer and long-time club contributor Binay Yadav has taken on the role of President. Known for his decisive leadership and passion for the sport, Yadav begins his tenure with a commitment to process improvement, strategic development, and deeper engagement with both players and the wider community. Sujan Bohora will serve as Vice-President, joining a team of dedicated board members that includes Bipin Parajuli, Alok Dev, Tapendra Singh Bist, Asif Raja, Subodh Maskey, Vikash Dhakal, and Sanjeev Mahat. Three additional board members will be finalized during the first official meeting.

Chairperson Imran Asgar, a respected business leader associated with Amin Trades and Services, will work closely with President Yadav to guide the club’s strategic direction. The strong working relationship between the two leaders reflects their shared vision to further elevate the presence and impact of Nepalese cricket in Canada.

In announcing the new executive, NCCC also extended heartfelt appreciation to the outgoing 2023–2025 board for their hard work and dedication. The previous leadership team, led by President Amrit Thapa, played a significant role in strengthening the club’s structure and expanding its reach within the community. The club acknowledged the contributions of Vice-President Binay Yadav, Treasurer Kushal Ranabhat, and board members Dinesh Baniya, Binod Gupta, Rajan Tamang, Bidur Bhandari, Manil Wagle, Shushant Tuladhar, and Alok Dev, along with General Secretary for 2025, Sanjib Poudel, Patron Imran Asgar, and Advisor Bipin Parajuli.

NCCC expressed special gratitude to former President Amrit Thapa, who will continue to support the club in an advisory capacity. His leadership and commitment have been widely credited for helping bring the organization to its current standing.

With the introduction of a dynamic new team and the continued guidance of senior members, NCCC looks forward to a period of renewed energy and vision. The club emphasized that the upcoming term will focus on unity, community engagement, player development, and strengthening the identity of Nepalese cricket within Canada.
